  3. Just a bit of trivia so share. Putting the ice cream on waffles comes from the Merrell side of the family. One weekend (May 1977 to be exact) my Grandpa and Grandma Merrell came out to Animas for the wedding reception and a tour of the hog farm. They served the ice cream on waffle thing and my Grandpa Guy Olsen was awe-struck. His first and last love was ice cream and he just knew he had reached the celestial kingdom early. You have never seen a man so happy. I'm sure he ate ice cream on his waffles from that point on...he just had never thought of it before. Never let it be said you don't marry the whole family. Way to marry up Babs!

  4. Correction to the last post I made...It was my Grandpa and Grandma Olsen not Merrell who came to Animas..Guy Moroni and Vera Gertrude.
